Unusual Alexa Responses

If Alexa responds in an unexpected way, say 'Alexa, tell My Speaker to report a problem' and follow her instructions. Reporting things this way means we can tell exactly when something went wrong to try and help.

Automatic App Startup

As the app needs to be running all the time, it can be helpful to make it run automatically when you log in to your Windows 10 PC. Here is how to configure it to do this:

Multiple Account Support

If you use another Amazon account on your Alexa system, or if you disable then re-enable the Skill you will need to go through the PIN pairing process again.

If you use your Amazon account on multiple Alexa systems connected to different Sonos networks (eg in a vacation home), please contact Support for additional assistance.

Multiple App Instances

You can run more than one instance of My Speaker on your network, but we don't recommend it. User settings, such as the current room and search settings, are stored in the app, so if you have more than one running this can cause you to be confused.
